Μιchalis’ path always seemed predestined: even before the Internet was widely available in Greece, he always seemed to be able to find a way to access it through any means available. Like so many others, the brand new medium’s magic swept him away and paved the path for his current position.
A self-proclaimed UX/UI enthusiast, Michalis pursued a BΕng in Computer & Electronic Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University and earned a MSc in Data Telecoms & Networks at the University of Salford. Upon returning to Greece, he initially started working as an IT engineer but soon found that the business side of the sector was where he really shined.
His career on the digital marketing field then, started at the λinakis digital agency where, as a project/account manager, he was responsible for clients like Olympic Air, Piraeus Bank and many more. Following that experience he moved on to ATCOM and became a PM on a lengthy, complex project for Aegean Airlines involving multinational partners. Before joining Interweave, he also made a stop at Mozaik digital agency where he managed clients like Costa Navarino, Three Cents and more.
His passion for Web drives him to continuously learn and adopt new technologies and concepts. His technical skills and experience (HTML, AJAX, CSS, C, C++. Java, MySQL etc.) help him address server and client side analysis, as well as design and development, covering the entire technical life cycle of a Web project using all modern Web technologies – making him a valuable asset to the Interweave team.
Along with his business and web acumen, Michalis also likes to hone his athletic skills by playing tennis, running and going to the gym. He’s also a mean cook and likes to hop islands in the summer in the company of his trusted doggy friend, Abby.
