Liakos Architects, an international architectural firm with commercial, residential and hospitality projects in Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, the Middle East and the Gulf countries, asked Interweave to redesign their website, after the very successful rebranding we did for them, designing their new logo. The new website had to feature the firm’s multiple award winning projects in an impressive way, as well as to be easy to update by the owners.
As this was going to be a website full of photographs of various formats, featuring projects of various styles, our design approach focused on allowing as much space as possible for the projects to shine. We therefore opted for a minimal design with lots of white space, clean and simple navigation, smooth transitions and a discreet, modern font, to allow for all the project images to take centre stage, without any distractions. During the development stage we also paid attention to loading speed, so that the website visitors would have an optimum experience while browsing the projects’ photographs.
