Principote has asked Interweave to revamp their existing website to better address the needs, and aesthetics, of their clientele, as the well known beach bar and restaurant had recently expanded its portfolio of services.
Interweave designed a modern sleek website that captured the experience of Principote, while presenting all the services and options available to visitors.
To design the information architecture, as well as the actual website, Interweave studied the competition to find points of differentiation as well as to identify Principote’s areas of superiority vis-a-vis the competition. By creating guests’ personas and their potential journeys, Interweave was able to spec the best way to structure the information on the site, as well as determine optimal design and copywriting specs (such as language, tone of voice, images temperature and color palette etc).
To create a fast, safe and easy-to-update website, Interweave used the latest open source technologies, building a robust back office system behind seamless CSS animations, resulting in a website that is beautiful to browse, keeping visitors longer. A detailed SEO strategy ensured that all copywriting added to the SEO value of the website.
A series of design rules were established to better serve the redesign’s goals (and to be used in other Principote projects as well), including a visual emphasis on details, to denote Principote’s take on what is luxury, a slight warmth in the photos, to denote the warmth of the greek summer, use of nature and venue architecture in specific ways, and more.
Implementing those visual identity rules across all Principote communication, helped ensure that the message was kept consistent across all digital platforms.
