The Marketing Greece S.A. initiative Discover Greece needed a holistic restructuring for SEO reasons and to SEO optimize the platform’s content aiming at organically reaching the “right” audiences worldwide and compete with the thousands of travel related pages found on the web.
The main objective set for Interweave was to increase the organic visits of DiscoverGreece.com, up to 300% within 2 months after delivering the project, for five languages -English, Russian, French, German, Greek- while the time we had at our disposal to prepare, organize and carry out the project was 3 months.
The project required extended preparation and audit, consisted in thorough analysis of the challenges that the platform, the content structure and the content faced. We worked very closely with Marketing Greece’s team and under their guidance and with tight collaboration we managed to achieve together great results and craft a very clear SEO strategy for the next years addressing global audiences.
The project required high accuracy and attention to detail so that the final outcome would be of top-notch quality. However, the most challenging part was to effectively manage the logistics of the project, due to the number of processes and texts, as well as, the limited amount of time that we had to deliver the project. But even most challenging, was the even more limited time we had at our disposal to deliver results – up to 300% organic visits within 2 months!
Α (really long) list with extremely short and strict deadlines was formed – including tasks related to technical, structural, navigational and content optimization issues.
High quality standards in all steps of the process regarding travel data accuracy / updated info, high-end copywriting, proofing & SEO check were also followed reverently.
